Surge Orchestra is an intercultural and interchangeable large ensemble that has performed at festivals throughout UK and Ireland and been recorded and broadcast for BBC Radio 3. Recent highlights include their digital recording project Surge // Chuanju in Autumn 2020 and a PRSF Beyond Borders Irish Tour, which saw Surge Orchestra performing as part of the Surge in Spring 2019 Festival and then undertaking a three date tour to Ireland. 

One of Surge’s compositions Hallucinogenic Garden was nominated for a British Composers Award and Surge's CD La Fête was launched at Midlands Arts Centre with jazz great Django Bates as special guest.
